Offering ( Pastor ) 2 Cor 9:6-12 NLT Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. —-6
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” —7
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. —8
As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”——9
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.—-10
Paul said... in order to KNOW HIM... you’ll need to KNOW HIM in the light of HIS RESURRECTION.
The Central message of the Gospel is—— * Jesus Died
What is the difference... There were others in the Bible that were raised from the dead—- but they died later on. But Jesus—- was resurrected not just in body... but in spirit—- Acts 13:30-33 But God raised him from the dead: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. Heb 1:5-6 For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”? But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.”
