Sermon—- God’s Covenant of Blessing —. Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. 2 Cor 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. Gal 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”,

that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

3 John 2-4 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. —-3 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.—-4

a) Put God’s Word... Final Authority in your Life b) Renew your Mind... every situation, what does God say? c) Speak the Promises d) Act like it is already done e) Trust God—- live faithfully for Him

Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

God’s “Orginal Intention” for Man Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.—vs 1

• God gives dominion to man — vs 26 God gives seed-power ———- vs 29 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.... —— vs 31
• Oil — is good
• Natural gas — good
• Coal — is good
• Nuclear power — is good
• Diamonds ��, gold … everything is good.
• God placed all these resources… to be used… for man’s benefit.

God Placed Adam & Eve—- in Eden. Gen 2:8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed Vs 12 And the gold of that land is good. Made a Covenant with Noah. Gen 9:1 So God BLESSED Noah and his sons, and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.

Covenant with Abram. Gen 12:1-3 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Blessings = Land Ownership Gen 12:7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.”

Blessings = Material Wealth. Gen 13:2 Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.

Ps 112:1-3
