God’s Covenant of Blessing Mark 14:22-24 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” —22 Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. — 23 And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many. —24 Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.—-6 Old Covenant Blessings — Deut 28 Heb 8:7-13 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. —7 Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 8 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD. —-9 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. —-10 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. —11 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”—-12 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.—13

2 Cor 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Rich = full supply to do the will of God 2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. Gal 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”,—13

that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.—-14

3 John 2-4 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. —-3 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.—-4

a) Put God’s Word... Final Authority in your Life b) Renew your Mind... every situation, what does God say? c) Speak the Promises d) Act like it is already done e) Trust God—- live faithfully for Him

Example of Trust— Hab 3:17-18 Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls—17

Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.—-18 Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Ps 1:1-3 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.—-2 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. —-3 Ps 112:1-3 Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.—-1 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.—-2 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.—-3
