Keys to the anointed life Mark 5:25-34 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, —25

and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 26 When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. 27

For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”—-28 Notes ️ Question: What are you saying, to yourself? Pay attention to what you are thinking & saying “to yourself”

Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. 29

And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”—-30

But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”—-31

And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. —-32

But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. —-33

And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”—-34 Notes ️ Every believer —- must know how to maintain & turn up the “inner fire “ Luke warm people — say with their actions — we don’t need a church, a Pastor Rev 3:15-17 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 15 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.—-17

Note To be lukewarm all you have to do is…. Nothing… just sit there. Lukewarm people —- “self-deceived” Rev 3: ….and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. Lukewarm people — controlled by their feelings 8 Keys to the Anointing

  1. Top Priority on the Bible Amos 8:11 Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a FAMINE on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of HEARING the WORD of the Lord. 1 Pet 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. Job 23:12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food. Prov 15:14 NLT A WISE person is HUNGRY for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash. The most important thing about food is ... not its taste ... not its smell ... not how it looks on the plate... the most important thing is that we EAT good nutritious food "REGULARLY". Better to eat REGULAR than eat a lot once in a while. Reading your bible REGULAR even 5 min at a time. We read for our sake ... not for God's sake. God does not condemn us for not reading our bible. If we don't read our bible REGULARLY our spirit gets weaker & weaker...

faith gets weak... dull of hearing… no longer responding to the Holy Spirit Your body will not function without food ... also your inner man will not function without spiritual food. We need the regular ( same food ).... not always seeking something new. Ex Breakfast ... most people eat the same-thing every morning. Lunch & supper is when we normally eat a variety. Note: Read the New Testament ... but also the Old Testament. There are seasons when our inner man desires a particular area ... but than we move on to other area's. Each believer needs to develop what works for them ... the important point is that "every day" we read the bible. Never get tired of foundational bible truths ... just like natural food ... although we have had a certain meal 100's of times we will have it again because it is good. Reading God's word is not just about knowledge ... it is FOOD/NUTRITION for our spirit. { inner man } We call it “Faith food” ... food that builds trust in God... enough trust that enables us to “ John 3:34 For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. ( Jesus had the anointing of the Holy Spirit… Without measure )

  1. Determined to live a spiritual Life - vs carnal life Jer 6:16-19 Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the OLD PATHS, where the good way is, And WALK IN IT; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’---16 Also, I set WATCHMEN over you, saying, LISTEN to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen.’----17

Therefore hear, you nations, And know, O congregation, what is among them.----18 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people— The FRUIT of THEIR THOUGHTS, Because they have not heeded My words Nor My law, but rejected it.----19 Rom 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit 3) Submission & Obedience to God … to Chief Shepherd & Under Shepherd a) Lordship of Jesus b) The written word of God c) Conscience = Voice of your spirit d) Those that have the rule over you = Pastor leadership e) Submission to one another Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes. Heb 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Are you under… a man of God You claim that Jesus is your Lord… and yet you don’t submit to your Pastor You claim that Jesus is your Lord… and you are not faithful in a local church God will not anoint you to serve … if you refuse to serve 4) Diligence = Steady… consistent… effort Heb 11:6 … rewards diligence 5) Planted in the House of God ( not a permanent visitor ) Ps 92:13

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 1 Cor 12:18 God sets the members in the body where it pleases him. This is a priority issue Neglecting Church… is a serious attitude —- systematic of lukewarm heart 6) Living in an Attitude of Prayer — 1 Thess 5:15-22 See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.—-15 Rejoice always, 16 pray without ceasing, —17 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.—18 Do not quench the Spirit. —19 Do not despise prophecies. 20 Test all things; hold fast what is good. —21 Abstain from every form of evil.—-22 7) Practicing Forgiveness —- not holding bad feelings towards others Mark 11:25-27 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. —-25 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”——26 KJV says… ye have ought against any:….

  1. Practicing Honour in your Life — towards those God has placed in your life You don’t have to show dishonour… Just refuse to honour can hinder the anointing of God Mark 6 :3-6 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.—3

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honour except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” —4

Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. —5
