Book of Galatians July 2, 2025 Galatians 1 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, —3 Note �� Grace and peace… Is a very common greeting in Paul’s letters. But,,, In 1 & 2 Timothy , & Titus —- Paul says, Grace, Mercy and peace. This is because Timothy was a pastor… Pastors need mercy.

who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, —4

• From the evil in this present world Titus 2:14 NLT He gave his life TO FREE US from every kind of SIN, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds. Col 1:13-14 KJV Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.—-5 Only One Gospel I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, —- 6

which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert ( change ) the gospel of Christ. —-7

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. —- 8

As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.—— 9 Note ��

2 Cor 11:3-4 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. ---3 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted— you may well put up with it!----4

1. Another Jesus — God in the flesh
2. Different Spirit — always points to the blood of Jesus… No condemnation
3. Another Gospel — Salvation… Healing, Prosperity, total restoration, Holy living Do not listen to preaching that does not centre around the gospel. Center of the gospel— 1 Cor 15 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, —-3 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures Healing is in the gospel — Acts 14:7-9 And they were preaching the gospel there.—-7 And in Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet was sitting, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who had never walked. —8 This man heard Paul speaking. Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, 9 said with a loud voice, “Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.—-10 Note �� Paul preached not only forgiveness of sins but also physical healing. We believe in a full Gospel… Some say we don’t preach on healing… We just preach the gospel Or We don’t preach prosperity, blessings… We just preach the gospel Blessing and prosperity is in the gospel Gal 3:8-9 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.

So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.—-9 Gal 3:29

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Note ��️ God preached the gospel to Abraham-—-that all nations would be blessed in Abraham. Blessing = and empowerment to prosper Deut 8:18 And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant ( gospel ) which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. 2 Cor 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. Rich = A full supply to do the will of God Ps 23:1 The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want ( be in lack for anything ) Gal 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 13 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Note Many get disturbed and irritated… About the blessing… And prosperity But it is included in the gospel ( Salvation = Sozo ) And you can only receive my faith… And I have faith you must hear the gospel… & receive & Act upon the message . Galatians 1– But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. —-11

For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the

revelation of Jesus Christ.—-12 Note ��️ Paul received the gospel by direct revelation = Revealed by the Holy Spirit The gospel = Is a supernatural message. After Paul’s conversion— 17 years of silence Gal 1:18-19 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days. But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother.—-19 Galatians 2:1-2 Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me. —1 And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain.
