Sermon—— The Christian Life -  Pt 1

The Apostle Paul often related “spiritual truth’s” using Military terminology.

Cold lake has a large Military presence—-so we should be able to relate when the Bible uses Military Analogies.

Apostle Paul said...

1 Tim 6:12

2 Tim 2:3-4

You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

• Enlisted = to be enrolled in the armed services

• The Christian life—- is not always going to be easy

• There are “many enemies” to your walk of  Faith

• To Walk in all God has Planned —- You Will Have to FIGHT!

• GOD is saying that Living for Him... is NOT going to be EASY!

• NOT EASY—- sometimes you will have to PUSH THRU PAIN

Warfare is a major part of Life

• Victory in our lives —-is obtained through battle... a fight

• Maturity comes through PRESSING THROUGH your feelings
