God is the Owner of All 1 Cor 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Rom 14:7-8 NLT For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. —7

If we live, it’s to honour the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honour the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

• The Confession of the Lordship of Jesus at Salvation is an acknowledgement that God is the owner of all Including.... every area of our lives:

......Our Time, Talents & Finances... belong to God!

• Money = our time = our Life
• To say we give Jesus our Life... includes our money!
• A person who claims to have given their life to Jesus & yet struggles with obeying God with their Finances is not telling the truth.
• Tithing is a matter of the heart ... Loving God.
• Offerings is also a matter of the heart

Prov 3: 9-10 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the first-fruits ( tithe ) of all your increase;

So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. Jesus said... Matt 6:21 " For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. "

God’s Plan for His Church

Matt 16:18 NKJ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

So today we want continue on this theme… “Don’t be a “casual attender” the church,... family of God” We want to talk about abandoning the “dating phase” of Church life.

It’s ok to visit a church… but that is not to be the ongoing experience of a Christian’s Church Life. We said…

• That the Church is not man’s idea… it’s God’s Idea
• God does care if you’re connected to a church, or not.

Ps 92:13-14 NLT Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, vs 14
