Offering — Gen 14:18-20 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.--- Reasons we Tithe:

  1. Because Abram ( father of our Faith ) was a tither
  2. Because the Jacob ( Israel )— they walked followed same pattern Gen 28:20-22 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on,

so that I come back to my father's house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God.

And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God's house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.” 3) The Tithe Belongs to the Lord / The Tithe is Holy to God Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's. It is holy to the Lord. 5) That there will be Provision in God's House. Mal 3:6-10 Mal 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.——10 6) That we may Learn to Reverence the Lord always. Deut 14:23 NLT Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God. 7) To Honour the Lord / Worship with substance Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the first-fruits of all your increase;

So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. Offering Song — Me and My House
