Sermon: Don’t Settle for Good Enough I want to talk to you today about “NOT Settling for Good Enough” It’s easy to think...

• I wish my marriage was better but, it’s good enough
• I don’t really like my job but, it’s good enough
• I should be taking better care of my health but, it’s good enough

Too many people are settling to live with things that are... less than God’s best. They’ve lost their passion.

• They used to have big dreams
• They hit some difficulties a long the way... & have given up
• Things didn’t turn out the way they expected

But just because everything is not yet come to pass... Don’t make the mistake of settling for “good enough” Phil 2:13 HCSB For it is God who is working in you, enabling you both to desire and to work out His good purpose. Phil 1:6 NKJ being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

• Good enough is NOT your destiny
• You are a “New Creation”... a Child of God”
• You have God’s DNA... an Inheritance in Christ

John 10:10 … I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

• You were re-created in Christ to excel... & live In abundance ... an Over-coming life!

• Health, finances, relationships
• an addiction

It’s been that way so long that inwardly you are saying, “what’s the use” It’s always going to be “this way”. Genesis 27:40 NKJ ��

"And it shall come to pass, when you become restless, that you shall break his yoke from your neck." When you become uncomfortable enough, you will rise up and use your authority in Jesus to throw off the enemy’s yoke. �� So declare today, "Enough is enough!" and then rise up in the name of Jesus and walk in the freedom that He has already provided for you.

You’ve got to get your inner “FIRE Back” Timothy had gone through some challenges in his ministry He was beginning to back off from the call of God So Paul wrote to him… 2 Tim 1:6 amp That is why I would remind you to stir up (rekindle the embers of, fan the flame of, and keep burning) the [gracious] gift of God, [the inner fire]... Rom 12:11 amp Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. Quote: Don’t be waiting for God to ignite you, you’ve got to light yourself on Fire��.
